Eric Hochman has more than twelve years of experience in residential and commercial real estate and leads the Vortex team as Broker and CEO. In recent years, he co-owned and operated a real estate investment company, where he personally purchased, renovated and sold multiple residential properties throughout Miami-Dade County. Most recently, Mr. Hochman purchased, renovated and currently manages several multifamily properties for various investors throughout Miami.
Previously, Mr. Hochman was Director of Real Estate at Kimco Realty Corporation (NYSE: KIM) where he worked for six years. While at Kimco, Mr. Hochman focused on opportunistic investments, asset managed over three million square feet of retail property, oversaw ground up construction, redevelopment, leasing, and tenant improvements for value creation opportunities throughout the United States. In addition, Mr. Hochman worked directly with various national retailers in an advisory service capacity to assist in the sale of excess fee simple and leasehold properties. Prior to Kimco, he worked with two real estate opportunity funds in New York City, focused on the redevelopment and repositioning of properties nationwide.
Mr. Hochman holds a MS in Real Estate from New York University and a BA in Government and Law from Lafayette College. He is a Florida licensed Real Estate Broker, and a member of the Miami Association of Realtors. He is a Florida licensed Certified Building Contractor serving as President of Acclivity Construction, LLC, a Miami based design, build, and construction company serving both luxury residential and commercial property.
Mr. Hochman is a member and contributor to the Bass Museum of Art, the Miami Art Museum (MAM), and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), as well as other organizations throughout Miami. He also is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Nick Richberg is a seasoned and successful real estate professional who heads the Residential Division at Vortex International Realty. As a Miami native, Nick has had a front-row seat to the expansion and development of South Florida. He knows and understands its neighborhoods and what makes Miami one of the greatest international cities in the world.
Prior to joining Vortex, Nick honed his skills in New York City, one of the world’s most demanding and competitive real estate markets. He was a Senior Associate at Citi Habitats, sister company of the prominent Corcoran Group. At Citi, Nick was a Top Producer and Platinum Award winner specializing in Manhattan luxury residential property and working with corporate and high net-worth clients. Prior to Citi Habitats, he partnered as Senior Managing Agent for CK Real Estate Group, an independent firm specializing in the sale and leasing of Lower Manhattan condominium and rental property in the Moinian Group portfolio. In New York, he also became a Certified Green Building Specialist and lived for five years in the first residential green building in the United States.

He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, and the residential, commercial and international forums of the Miami Realtors’ Association, Florida Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. An ardent supporter of the arts and arts in education, Nick is a member of Friends of New World Symphony, the Theatre League of South Florida, Actors’ Equity Association, and a Founding Company Member and Social Media Advisor of Zoetic Stage at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. He also supports the University of Miami Alumni Fund, ASPCA, American Cancer Society, and the Colon Cancer Alliance in memory of his mother. Nick Lives in the Brickell area of Miami with his wife, Lisa, and their cat Frances.

Rafael Lopez has more than nine years of experience in residential and commercial real estate. In recent years, he serves as Senior Engineer for Taylor & Mathis handling the maintenance management of Coconut Grove Bank and 6100 Waterford Building at Blue Lagoon in Miami. Mr. Lopez previously worked as real estate sales associate for Florida Realty of Miami since early 2011.
Mr. Lopez has more than 25 years in the painting and wallpaper finish industry serving as President of Wall Fashion Inc, managing and directing employees focused on both commercial and residential projects.
Mr. Lopez graduated with high honors from McGraw Hill in Connecticut and holds a MS in Microcomputers and Microprocessors. He is a Florida licensed real estate sales associate, and a member of the Miami Association of Realtors. Mr. Lopez is also a Microsoft Certified Professional.
