Midtown Miami is the largest area of new development in Miami. Planned and built from the ground up beginning in 2005, Midtown Miami includes two Midtown Condo towers, abundant retail, and many restaurants, with more Midtown Condos, a hotel, movie theater, and two parks in development. Midtown is located between 36th and 29th Streets west of Biscayne Boulevard, adjacent to the Design District to the north, and trendy Wynwood to the south. Midtown Condos are known for their loft-like design in full-service buildings, and have become popular with locals and area young professionals. Midtown has also become home to the prominent Art Miami art fair, which takes place during Miami’s Art Basel week.
